WHEN: August 8th / 15th / 22nd / 29th . 5pm - 6pm RECIPROCITY: Sliding Scale For the month of August, while I share the history, lore, and beauty of Cacao with the Cacao Apprentices you can join our one hour, weekly ceremonies. A cacao ceremony is held with love and devotion for you and we hope you can hold this virtual offering in presence, no recordings will be available. If possible have room to lay down or be in an area where comfort is priority. Please bring: - a cup of ceremonial cacao, preferably in a thermos to keep hot - a headset for ultimate listening - a lemon OR big bunch of herbs (rosemary, mint, and basil) - a small glass of water with a pinch of salt - a candle - an incense - ritual water Every ceremony will be different in topic but each will hold the same sequence. Opening invocation, drinking cacao, relaxation & meditative techniques, alignment to the days energy in the Maya cosmovision, a limpia (energy cleanse), and closing of the energy matrix. If you don't already have ceremonial cacao paste, you can find some under the following companies: My Secret Lab ((nstagram) Ruk’u’x Ulew (Soul Lift Cacao) Lava Love (Soul Lift Cacao) To make a ceremonial cup of cacao, set an intention and chop your block of cacao with love into smaller pieces, think 1/4 or smaller. Add 3 tablespoons to just boiled water, mix with a spoon until dissolved and then feel free to blend with a frother or molinillo. Do this while singing or playing devotional music, the water of your elixir is a matric of energy, and the cacao magnifies the energy around it. Once your cacao elixir is ready you can add sweetener to taste. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon, or chili. We look forward to meeting you in the virtual templo!
