Huipil Pouches
Huipiles are the traditional ‘blouse’ of the Indigenous people of Mexico and South America.
In Guatemala, they are intricately embroidered by hand, by women who wear them with pride. Sometimes huipiles are ready to be retired and they take on a new life.
These pouches were bought from Lake Atitlan vendors who work with the local community. It was a joy to curate this selection of bright colors, hope you find one that holds your sacred items, your beauty items, or your artful items.
