Ceramic Cascabel - Rattle
These rattles caught my eye at the artists studio for their shape, similar to a cacao pod. But once I learned they were rattles, they were added to my curated shop so they can share their song in cacao circles and ceremonies.
Their sound is earthy and low. The large ceramic beads inside, rattle around easily and have their own short echo.
I recommend these to anyone that wants to add a earth sound to their personal practice.
TO USE
Rattles have been used in many civilizations to bring attention of the unseen energies. In Curanderismo, we use them to 'shake up' energies of both bodies and spaces. With the lower tone of these rattles they can be used to ground a person after a session, when the person needs a rhythm for deep internal focus, or after a sweet smudge in a space to call back on the positive vibrations.
