EXPERIENCE
- Grate cacao with a knife in smaller pieces, take your time to set intentions if drinking a ceremonial cup
- Heat liquid to almost boil, turn off
- Add cacao and mix well. This is the time to add mantra, prayer, or affirmations to your cup
- Continue to blend until fully integrated, can use a hand blender or mixer to fully dissolve the cacao paste.
- Add sweetener to taste
- Serve & Sit with your cup... connect to your intention

Cacao Mexicano
The yearly Cacao Festival in Mexico introduced me to some Cacao farmers that are working hard to maintain the original cacao varieties alive. I brought an earthy and deeply roasted cacao that is less about heart energy and more about grounding.
This makes a rich ceremonial cup with notes of bark and cherries. I recommend using .5 to .75 oz of this cacao for a smooth cup. Best in water with a dash of cayenne.
