We found these tiny, hand crochet bags by accident. While we were looking for beaded items, we passed these bags and one literary jumped out of it hanger unto our hand. When we asked the store owner if there was more he smiled and said “‘como la encontraste?’, how did you find it?, and I told him it found me!” They were in the back of the shop, hidden from view and created by the owners family to promote prosperity and harmony.
Through out all of Latine America, amuletos rojos are used for financial, romantic, and general ‘good luck’ in life. These little guys contain seeds like corn & lentils, along with cinnamon & laurel to sweeten and clear the energy.
We added the little Guatemala worry doll on one side and a branded leather label with our Virgen on the other for added protection and balance.
